The President of Yarmouk University, Professor Islam Massad, met with the Bahraini cultural advisor in Amman, Marwa Al-Jassim, in the Bahraini attaché building in Amman to discuss ways of enhancing cooperation between the two sides in various scientific fields and other issues related to Bahraini students studying at Yarmouk.
During the meeting, Massad stressed Yarmouk’s keenness to follow up on its international students, to give them the utmost care, and to encourage them to join the student body at the University in a way that contributes to enriching cultural and civilizational diversity among students on campus. He also expressed the University's readiness to receive more Bahraini students wishing to study at the University at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, stressing that Yarmouk offers several new qualitative specializations that keep pace with the needs of the local, regional, and international labor market.
In her turn, Al-Jassim praised the academic and scientific level of Yarmouk University, the distinguished academic reputation it enjoys in the State of Bahrain, and the distinction of its qualitative academic programs at the regional level. She also appreciated the great care and attention that Yarmouk University provides for its Bahraini students and its permanent cooperation with the Bahraini attaché in all issues related to Bahraini students, stressing the attaché’s keenness to strengthen such cooperation.
