Yarmouk University participated in the activities of the Q8 EDUEX International Exhibition for Higher Education, which took place in Kuwait and lasted for two days. The university participated in the exhibition through a special pavilion made at the University with the aim of introducing Yarmouk and its development and progress in international classifications, in addition to introducing its academic programs at various degrees.
The University President, Professor Islam Massad, said that Yarmouk’s participation in such international exhibitions is part of a series of activities and marketing methods deployed by the University to introduce Arab and international countries to the great developments made by Yarmouk University in various fields. He then pointed out that such participation in international higher education exhibitions contributes to attracting international students to study at the University, which enhances cultural diversity and civilizational exchange among students, thus positively impacting the University’s status in international rankings of universities
Interestingly, beside Yarmouk, the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University of Jordan, Jordan University of Science and Technology, and Princess Sumaya University of Science and Technology participated in the exhibition. Thus, the Jordanian ambassador in Kuwait, Sinan Al-Majali, visited the exhibition and inspected the participating Jordanian pavilions, where the head of the advertising and marketing department at Yarmouk, Shatha Saadoun, gave a briefing on the importance of unifying national efforts to represent Jordan abroad.
