The Academic Support Department for Students with Learning Difficulties was established in 2010 with the aim of supporting and assisting students in the areas of admission, registration, and all procedures related to their special situation in their academic journey. The department assigns a team of staff and academics to assist students with special needs in taking exams, navigating the campus, organizing cultural, sports, and artistic activities to integrate them into the student community, in addition to monitoring the implementation of constructions in university buildings that facilitate their movement within the campus. The university also has an academic guidance system for students, where the student can apply for guidance through the university's website with the help of the department to obtain the necessary guidance from a faculty member. Furthermore, in some faculties, a student who has obtained a low GPA (less than 68%) cannot register for any course without consulting their academic advisor, whose name and contact information are placed on the student information system website.
