In conjunction and cooperation with the Amman Film Festival, the Film Club of the al-Hussein Bin Talal Library at the University, in cooperation with the Royal Film Commission, screened the movie“200 Meters”, which talks about the misery and oppression the Apartheid Wall causes to Palestinians in their daily lives. The movie’s theme is reflected through Mustafa, the character who lives in the West Bank 200 meters away from his wife’s house who lives with their children in Palestine. It is the Apartheid Wall that makes the access from one side to the other impossible and subject to dangers.
As the movie finished, a discussion of its subject and artistic elements followed, considering that the event took place in the library's backyard and was attended by an audience of about 170 members of university students and local community families.
