He affirmed the university’s readiness to expand cooperation with Northern Kentucky University, particularly in the fields of business and economics.

He pointed to the possibility of formalizing this collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at enhancing faculty exchange programs, which would deepen the exchange of expertise and knowledge between both sides. He also highlighted opportunities for student exchange programs, whether through twinning programs, dual-degree pathways, host-university arrangements, or short academic visits—allowing students to benefit from the academic offerings at both universities.

Prof. Alsharairi stressed the importance of introducing programs that develop students’ skills by enabling them to integrate courses from other disciplines into their primary field of study, enhancing their competitiveness in the global job market.

He also highlighted Yarmouk University’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, which works to empower young people, foster creativity, and channel their potential toward innovation by supporting entrepreneurial ideas and establishing incubators. He noted the possibility of establishing a joint entrepreneurship initiative with Northern Kentucky University in this area.
