Yarmouk University was honored by His Majesty King Abdullah II's visit of Yarmouk's campus where His Majesty met a number of students who were attending the orientation of 'Inhad', a national programme for self-employment. His majesty talked about a number of issues of concern to the Jordanian youth and emphasized their role in developing the future of Jordan. The university is very proud as such a royal visit embodies the King's considerable concern about the youth and university students as future leaders.
Elaborating on His Majesty King Abdullah II's visit to Yarmouk University, the University's president stated that such a visit has placed the University individuals in front of the merits of a new phase of building and continuous work needed to achieve the visions and aspirations of His Majesty in preparing qualified Jordanian citizens who are fully armed with the supreme values and virtues that are consistent with the tolerant spirit of the heavenly religions that urge to maximize the values and common grounds among all humans. Prof. Kafafi also expressed the University's gratitude for the royal visit and His Majesty's interest in participating students their dialogue session that aimed at researching ways to promote the advancement of youths' role in shaping the future of their homeland. In addition, Prof. Kafafi recalled His Majesty's visit to the university in 2012 where he had expressed his interest in encouraging students to express their views and implement their desires, and in providing them with whatever needed to build their personalities. Finally, Kafafi affirmed that Yarmouk University, which looks at the royal visit with pride, honor, and dignity and which has always been distinguished among other educational institutions, will always serve the Hashemite leadership in preparing human competencies that are capable of adopting and complying with the conditions of the new era.
