The Dean of Students Affairs at Yarmouk University attended a ceremony honoring female workers at the university, which was organized by Yarmouk's Arab and Foreign Students Club. The Dean explained that the university appreciates the great services of its women workers who work hard to preserve the university’s facilities and environment. She stressed that the university gives workers a lot of attention and supports their access to decent honorary positions. Also, she commended the great efforts made by the Arab and Foreign Students Club in order to deepen the affiliation of international students to Yarmouk University and participate in achieving its noble social and humanitarian goals.
The Vice President of the club, Abdullah Buraiyah, said that international students always seek to participate in the university's various activities and celebrations. He then expressed international students' thankfulness for all the employees of the university for their great efforts in serving and helping students. Moreover, he stressed that the club's honoring of a group of women workers at the university is a way to appreciating women's role in bearing the burden of responsibility at all levels. After that, students from Algeria, China, and Indonesia delivered several speeches through which they thanked the honored workers and all university employees for the great efforts they made to improve students' experience in Yarmouk. Then they stressed that their stay in Jordan and their education at Yarmouk University make the most beautiful memories they have had and that will remain forever.
For Yarmouk employees' part, a female worker gave a speech through which she thanked the university family and the Arab and Foreign Students Club for their support of women workers by honoring them. However, the ceremony was attended by the Director of Students Welfare Department, Marwan Tayfour, the Director of the Department of Cultural and Artistic Activity, Khalil Al-Kofahi, the Head of the Department of Students Welfare, Ayham Abu Al-Shaar, a number of officials in the Deanship, and a group of international students.
