The Crown Prince Foundation launched the second edition of the Crown Prince Award for Best Government Service Application, which is part of the strategic partnership and cooperation between Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. Considering that the first edition of the ward covers the fields of education, health, transport, business environment and tourism, five new sectors were added to the second edition of the award, namely agriculture and food security, youth, social affairs, refugees, and security and crisis management.
Thus, the Minister of State for Institutional Performance Development, Yassera Ghosheh, called on the university students to express their abilities and start preparing their applications to participate in the award, which should start receiving applications next November and for a period of two months.
Noteworthy here is that the award, which targets more than 300,000 students from the Jordanian public and private universities, aims at encouraging students to create innovative solutions in the field of smartphone applications to develop easy and simplified government services. Also, it is noteworthy that the award is worth 100,000 dinars divided into 50,000 JD for the first place, 30,000 JD for the second place, and 20,000 JD for the third place.
