Yarmouk University, through its health faculties—the Faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing—took part in the proceedings of the Sixth International Conference on “Knowledge, Skills, and Competence in Pharmacy and Toxicology (KSAPT 2025),” held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The conference was organized under the umbrella of the Global Forensic Excellence Summit (GFEX) and the Fourth Saudi Conference for Forensic Medical Sciences (SCFMS 2025), during the period from October 24 to 29, 2025.
The Yarmouk delegation to the conference included a team of participating students from the health faculties: Suhaib Khatatbeh from the Faculty of Medicine, Mahmoud Radaideh from the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Zaid Jaradat from the Faculty of Nursing, under the supervision of Dr. Dima Al-Balas from the Faculty of Pharmacy.
This participation aimed to strengthen the university’s scientific and research presence at the regional and international levels, exchange knowledge and experiences with leading academic and research institutions, enhance interdisciplinary professional learning across medical fields, and support Arab scientific collaboration.
The conference was organized by the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society, in cooperation with the Saudi Ministry of Health, with the participation of specialists, researchers, and experts from around the world. It aimed to exchange knowledge, explore the latest advancements, and strengthen international collaboration in the fields of pharmacy and toxicology. This was pursued by promoting innovation through continuous learning, encouraging interdisciplinary cooperation, and advancing international scientific collaboration to support global knowledge sharing, enhance communication, and apply toxicological sciences in ways that improve human health.
The conference also included hands-on workshops, international discussion panels, scientific paper presentations, student competitions in reactive toxicology, research poster sessions, and awareness activities on drug prevention, in which the participating students took part.
