As part of its ongoing efforts to develop and strengthen its relations with local and international institutions, Yarmouk University -through the Department of International Relations and Projects- has gained 40 academic and student exchange projects from the Erasmus Plus program for 2020, which makes the university the second Jordanian institution that achieves this number of partnerships with European universities.
The President of the University, Prof. Nabil al-Hilat, said that this achievement is a confirmation of the outstanding level and good reputation enjoyed by Yarmouk University internationally and regionally, praising the efforts of the Department of International Relations and Projects in achieving this international partnership and building such a network with several prestigious international universities. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the European Union, Erasmus Plus Program, and Erasmus Plus national office for the cooperation and continuous support of the university in the field of cultural exchange. He explained that this activity contributes to sharing knowledge, learning about the experiences of others, and exchanging academic, training, and research experiences, which helps the university to achieve its vision of reaching the world.
