10 6. University Facilities Al-Hussein Bin Talal Library: The library was established in 1976 and was named Al-Hussein Bin Talal Library in March 2013. 1. The library has approximately 600,000 references in various fields of knowledge in several languages. These references are available in paper copies or digital versions. 2. The library adopts Anglo-American indexing rules, Mark 21 standards, and the US Congress Library classification system in organizing and indexing references. 3. The library offers a number of digital databases containing thousands of international journals, books and university theses, available on the university's network, such as: EBSCO for Journals, ebrary for books, Proquest-Dissertation for University theses, and other databases can be found on the Library's website at http://library.yu.edu.jo. The library also provides subscription services for local and regional community visitors.
